The journal "Russian Journal of Occupational Health and Industrial Ecology" is the successor and continuer of the monthly "Occupational Hygiene  and Occupational Diseases". The magazine has been published since 1923. The subject of the published materials covers theoretical and practical problems of occupational Health occupational hygiene health and occupational pathology, toxicology, physiology and ergonomics, prevention, healthy lifestyle, occupational risk assessment as a result of complex interaction of professional, biomedical, environmental and other factors.

Considerable attention is paid to the materials of ecological orientation in the magazine, since the adverse effects of man-made environmental pollution have an impact not only on the employees of this production, but also far beyond its borders.

The journal regularly publishes articles of interest for practical health care, materials on the organization of health care for workers and employees, the development and implementation of the principles of insurance medicine, as well as new legal and regulatory documents.
