<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The study covered chronic overstrain in personal computer users and revealed statistically significant direct dependence of relative risk value on age and length of service. The time of work on computer is a main factor determining chronic overstrain value. The most efficient method preventing chronic overstrain is breaks in work, concerning both duration and frequency during working day. The authors calculated chronic overstrain indexes according to specified rank algorithms — that enabled to use them for dividing the workers into groups of «healthy» and «diseased».</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>хронический стресс</kwd><kwd>вопросник</kwd><kwd>пользователи компьютеров</kwd><kwd>относительный риск</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>chronic stress</kwd><kwd>questionnaire</kwd><kwd>computer users</kwd><kwd>relative risk</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Григорьев Ю.Г., Григорьев О.Н., Степанов В.С. и др.
